- Show you advertisements inside the app — not even on the free tier.
- Pretend our estimates are professional appraisals. They aren't, and we say so clearly inside the app.
Frequently asked
Are the price estimates professional appraisals?
No. They're informational figures based on live material prices and internal models — useful as a starting point for your own research. For anything involving real money (insurance, resale, donation, estate), get a formal valuation from a certified gemologist or appraiser.
Where do the prices come from?
Public price feeds for gold, silver, platinum and palladium, converted to your selected currency using daily FX rates. Price freshness is shown in the app, and some prices may refresh daily or when feed updates are available.
Do estimates include tax?
Only where the app has a safe supported tax rule. If tax cannot be safely determined, estimates show tax excluded instead of guessing.
What happens if I cancel Vault & Value Plus?
You keep Plus features until the end of the billing period you've paid for. After that, content beyond the Free tier's caps (more than 5 saved items, more than 1 item photo, more than 1 invoice photo, or more than 1 material alert and 1 item alert) is trimmed automatically — oldest-edited first, with the original thumbnail preserved on every item. Resubscribing within 30 days restores everything from a soft-delete grace period.
Do I need an account?
Yes — sign in with Apple or Google. The account is what syncs your collection across devices and enables sharing. You can delete it (and everything in it) at any time from Profile → Delete Account.
Which countries and currencies are supported?
The app can be used internationally, but pricing, currency, tax, and data coverage may vary by country. You can switch between USD, EUR, GBP, BHD, SAR, AED, KWD, QAR, OMR and other currencies from any pricing screen. The app interface is available in 13 languages including English, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified), Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Turkish, and Hindi.
