What we don't do
A short, clear list. Things we will never do, no matter how many users we get.
- Sell your data, your photos, or anything you save in the app.
- Use your saved items, photos or invoices to train any AI model.
- Show you advertisements inside the app — not even on the free tier.
- Pretend our estimates are professional appraisals. They aren't, and we say so clearly inside the app.
Frequently asked
Are the price estimates professional appraisals?
No. They're informational figures based on live material prices and our internal models — useful as a sanity check before you make a decision. For anything involving real money (insurance, resale, donation, estate), get a formal valuation from a certified gemologist or appraiser.
Where do the prices come from?
Public price feeds for gold, silver, platinum and palladium, converted to your selected currency using daily FX rates. Prices refresh throughout the day.
What happens if I cancel Vault & Value Plus?
You keep Plus features until the end of the billing period you've paid for. Anything you saved while subscribed stays visible — you simply can't add new items beyond the free tier's 5-item cap.
Do I need an account?
Yes — sign in with Apple or Google. The account is what syncs your collection across devices and enables sharing. You can delete it (and everything in it) at any time from Profile → Delete Account.
Which countries and currencies are supported?
The app works worldwide. You can switch between USD, EUR, GBP, BHD, SAR, AED, KWD, QAR, OMR and other currencies from any pricing screen. Additional languages and localised price feeds will roll out over time.
